Terminate a mandate in bulk

Learn how to terminate a mandate of an entity in bulk.

When a director or managing director holds mandates in several entities that you manage and those mandates needs to be terminated, you can either terminate the mandates entity by entity or perform a bulk termination across all relevant entities.

This allows you, for example, to end the mandate of a single director across multiple entities in one action. During the bulk termination, you can choose to terminate all mandates on the same effective date for consistency across your entities. In addition, you can specify a separate decision date for each individual mandate, ensuring that the legal decision date is accurately recorded even when different mandates are approved at different times.

Below you can find a step by step guide on how to terminate a mandate of an entity in bulk.

For detailed instructions, click 'Start tutorial' below.

Step-by-step:

  1. Go to the person or legal entity whose mandates needs to be terminated.
  2. Go to the tab 'Connections'.
  3. Select the mandates that needs to be terminated and click on 'Terminate'.
  4. (Optional) If there are pending actions preventing the bulk termination, open the relevant entity and remove the pending transaction or remove the mandate from the bulk termination list.
  5. Specify the termination date for the mandates (use the same date for all mandates or set a different date and time per mandate).
  6. Click on 'Terminate mandates'.

In a single bulk termination, you cannot appoint a new director. If you need to do this for specific entities, first complete the bulk termination, then open each relevant entity, reopen the last transaction and add the new director there.
