Learn how to share document via email

You can send documents directly from the portal via email. This is useful when you need to quickly share a specific document with internal stakeholders, board members, auditors or external counsel while keeping a clear audit trail of what was sent and to whom.

Steps to send a document via email

  1. Go to the desired document
    Navigate to the relevant entity and open the 'Documents' section. Next, select the document you want to send.

  2. Add recipients
    Make sure the desired recipients are added and have a valid email address.

  3. Click on the 'send via email' option
    Select the '...' button and choose the 'send via email' option from the dropdown. 

  4. Compose your email
    Enter the desired subject line and body of your email. If needed, use personalization fields (such as recipient name, portal link, file name) to tailor the message to the recipient.

  5. Send the email
    Once finish, click send to distribute the document via email.
