Learn how to reactivate your authenticator app

When you have deleted your authenticator app or you have a new phone, you need to reactivate your authenticator app. This article provides a step by step guide on how to complete this successfully.

The reactivation of your authenticator app will differ based on whether or not you have added your phone number to your Corporify account.

• No phone number added or you have a new phone number; or

• Phone number added (Two-Factor Authentication by SMS).

No phone number added or new phone number

Step 1 - reset your account

We will need to reset your account if you want to be able to log in and reactivate your authenticator app.

Step 2 - log in to your account and add authenticator app

As soon as your account reset is complete, you will receive an email to inform you. You can then proceed to log in using your email address and password. To strengthen the security of your account, set up an authenticator app.

Phone number added (SMS Two-Factor Authentication)

Step 1 - log in with SMS login (Switch to sms login)

To log in using an SMS token, simply switch to this method. Please note that this option only is available if you have previously added your phone number to your account. If the option to switch to SMS login is unavailable, your phone number has not been added. In this scenario, please go to Step 1 at the beginning of this article.

Step 2 - Delete your Authenticator app

Now you can remove the connection with the 'old' authenticator app.
