Manage classifications

Learn how to manage your share classifications

When you create a share register or on a later stage, you can apply additional classification to your (share) register.

Below you can find some example of these classifications:

  • Specifying transfer restrictions, such as a lock-up period.
  • Providing detail about share packages, such as package 1, package 2 and so on.

When you want to add classifications, you will need the following steps:

  1. To add a classification, you must first create the desired classifications before assigning them to a shareholder.
  2. You can assign a classification when recording a share transfer, this applies if there is both a change of classification and a change of ownership. If only the classification changes while ownership remains the same, use the “change classification” transaction..
