You can generate a SEPA file or a payment data file containing the details of a dividend payment or capital decrease for use in Isabel or other banking solutions to streamline your payment process.

Below you can find out more information on how to generate a SEPA file or a payment data file:

1. Bank account details

Make sure to input the bank account details for all entities that will receive a payment, as well as for the entity from which the payment will be paid. Below you can find a step by step guide on how to add bank account details.

2. Prepare transaction

3. Generate the SEPA or payment data file.

You have two options to create a payment data file:

  • Option 1: choose to generate a payment data file that adds up all payments for an individual entity into a single payment.
  • Option 2: choose to generate a payment data file that splits all payments by class or classification. If a person holds multiple share in multiple classes, choosing the ‘split by class’ payment option will generate separate payments for each class they own.

When creating the payment data file, you can add a bulk reference or description for all payments. For example, you might use text such as: ‘Dividend payment 2025.’ Alternatively, you can include personalized details for each payment by using the codes below. Please ensure these codes are inserted exactly as shown, including the brackets:

  • {name}
  • {class}
  • {classification}
  • {externalReference}
  • {bankAccountName}
  • {bankAccountDescription}

Example reference: Dividend payment 2025 - {name} - {class}, would be translated to: Dividend payment 2025 - Julian Ellenfield - Class A.
