Edit a class of shares or certificates

You can easily modify the existing classes of shares or certificates. Below are the aspects you can edit:

  • The name of the share class.
  • The voting rights associated with the class.
  • Whether the class has preferred dividend rights, along with the option to add a comment.
  • Whether the class has liquidation preference, with the option to include a comment.
  • A general description of the class (note).

Delete a class of shares or certificates

Whether you want to delete all classes or some classes, you can easily accomplish this using the Cancel Class transaction. Below you can find some additional information:

  • If you wish to delete multiple classes, please note that each class must be removed individually. 
  • If you wish to delete a specific class of shares, you can directly assign the shares to a different class. If the class is new, you must first add it to the register before proceeding with the Cancel Class transaction.
